My name is Sarah, but people who don't know me in real life (and occasionally some who do) usually refer to me by my online moniker, Jaide, which I prefer unless otherwise specified. I'm a twenty-something professional non-paid misanthropist living on the Oregon coast with my husband and our corgi. I have aspirations to be a novelist, but I'm a sort of reverse perfectionist in that I'm ridiculously disorganized, but obsessively so. Ergo, little gets done on my watch.
I'm also a shameless fangirl. My interests are very extensive and my pet fandom may change from day to day, but there are usually a handful that I always keep dear to my heart. I have a tendency to become completely enveloped in certain things and post endlessly about them until I move onto something else for awhile.
I'm decidedly snarky and I'm told I'm witty (whether this is true, the jury's still out), but I'm generally easy-going and non-judgmental. In short, I'm a nice person, and you should like me. :D

I'm also a shameless slasher. Slash does NOT necessitate smut. The two terms are not interchangeable, and you can have one without the other. This does not mean I do not read smut, but I do not require it. Slash simply means a male/male pairing. plzkthx. I had a list of my favorite pairings, but it was outdated and I've since removed it. I may add another in the future.

There's always a vacancy, provided you're not an idiot and we share things in common. :D I'm very open and accepting, and generally, as long as you aren't a bigot and can at least tolerate the fandoms I ramble about, we'll get along fine. A sense of humor is a must, but I think that's the case in just about every aspect of life.
If ever you have been on my friends list and see that you are not anymore, please do not take it personally. On (very) rare occasions I will do friends cuts if things seem to be getting a bit cluttered and I haven't heard from you in awhile, but if you speak up and would like to be re-added, I'll gladly do so.
